“I hope its grass-fed” A recurring statement.

To avoid linoleic acid, which will downstream raise inflammation markers (expressed causally as c-reactive proteins) because of the fatty-acid composition of the tissue of (centralized feedlot operation) cattle, which will increase my cortisol levels causing resistance to insulin due to evolutionary mechanisms to salvage glucose (tracked as hemoglobin A1c ) in a inflamed (dangered stare), which will desensitize my beta cells to produce insulin, rendering my adipocytes useless and never allowing my muscle-glycogen to cycle, thus overriding my liver with fatty acids which will produce small dense lipo proteins (non alcoholic fatty liver disease) which will develop atherosclerosis (jamming the epithelial tissue) because… “Heck that is not grass-fed, I’m not eating that, I’m going with wheat grass shots and cuscus!”

This would be “hippy excuse number one”. But with ‘your’ knowledge I don’t have to address how this is better than the alternatives, grains/dairy. I’d hope

I respond, “The answer is very simple but the challenge will be in discovering it.”

The man replies, “Well that sounds like a bunch of mumbo jumbo talk. If it was so simple I wouldn’t be stepping on the scale every damn day.”

I reply, “So it is very simple to follow instructions if you stop pretending like you know something about this. What you have been doing doesn’t work, and you know nothing of this other path. I know this because I can read your body language and your responses do not add up. I can just as easily pretend like we have never met if you wish to continue this bullshit.”

Man replies, “Well what do you suggest I do then? You honesty believe I’m going to just stop. That I am going to listen to everything you might recommend for me?”

I reply, “These are not ‘my’ recommendations. You can chose to accept that all humanbeings have one prescription. Remember, you need to approach this with the mindset that you will soon be, beyond the very practice you must adopt now. We are simply going to feel once again the rhythm of life that is rightly ours. You will live in nexus with all that nature has bestowed as possiblty. Once you find this concept you will laugh at the mockery society has made of modern civilization.”

People need to live the feeling of being alone (for a moment). This can be at rock bottom or at maximum elation. Either way at this moment you are given an opportunity to stand on your own. The sooner in life you experience this, the better. To comprehend, CHOICE. The choice presented from the un-chosen experience.

A path directly to your internal-being. Shifting you just slightly. 😉

“Just simply being dead serious about what I am passionate about without hurting anyone.”

Always had and still have those voices around me of people who oppose my ‘radical’ nature.
I am not talking about killing people because some holy book told me so or depriving myself food because although I am 27kg of body weight I still look fat, but just simply being dead serious about what I am passionate about without hurting anyone.

It seems this ‘radicalism’ is like a mirror – it reflects other people’s weaknesses at times – and they don’t like seeing it.

For me, the true radicals are those ‘Moderation Bitches’. How radically moderate they are.
How average.
How boring.
How truly normal. Tfffu.

Most people I connect with, admire, love and appreciate are nothing of this sort. I eliminate the Moderation Bitches from my life. I choose to be free.

If you are ‘the sum of the five people you hang out most with’, I suggest you choose them like this:

1. The Crazy Motherfucker. Tri-li-li-li-luni. Super important guy to have around. He is the one who is responsible for your oh-so-healthy mild mental disease.
2. The Genius. Sees patterns you miss and exposes them to you.
3. The fire. He is the extra battery when you are long running on the red line.
4. The Unconditional lover. Got y’er back, now you can fly away.
5. The Disciple. The student – to have you give and not only receive and keep the cycle alive.

Of course the beauty in it, one can serve multiple purposes and in relation for different people you can be different things. (you may be The Fire for one, but The Genius for another..)

So, if there are any Moderation Bitches in my audience, can you please let me know so I can ban you from this page and tidy up here a bit?? Ido Portal

The worst possible student (person) is one who seeks answers they so desperately want (their preconceived notions). To reaffirm the ego. This dynamic leaves it nearly impossible to exchange knowledge. Growth lies in bed with honesty. You want to learn something? Then listen and experiment. You would not test-drive the batmobile without an educational conversation first, would you? Vroom Vroom. It is those auto-pilot mechanisms. The go to scripts. The lies you’ve been telling yourself. The tales you tell others. Just be honest. No one even needs to know.

Honesty > Growth > Greatness

Ask yourself. What is possible?

When teaching movement the teacher must be able to demonstrate. Before the practitioner tries for themselves. The visual queuing gives precise representation while the physical movement develops the internal feedback loop. It is this very mind body-connection that we are developing for ever greater complex scenarios. Monkey see monkey do. An aside: 30 banana a day diet is crap.

You don’t just ‘get’ to train with me. I am not in the business of injuring people. It takes me a long time to trust you. You have to prove your skills step by step. There is no opportunity to skip levels. It takes the average person 3 months before I begin to believe in their abilities, and even then we have moments. If I see that you are not thinking what your are supposed to be, I am forced to think on your behalf (for you). I do not enjoy this but this is my duty. Eventually, hopefully, maybe, you will develop a sound understanding of the practice. But you will not walk in day one and profess anything meaningful. This is not possible. Crazy talk? NOPE. I do what I do because I know I know things most people do not. I believe in what I am teaching, therefore we follow the curriculum to the “t”. And if you stick around I guarantee you will not find a more honest, efficient, and life changing approach to this game. PERIOD.

P.S. There are a handful of people around the world I would send my closest friends to. So no I am not special. There is truth, trust, and honesty out there.

It is a ‘war’. I just hope your not being pawned off to the wrong side of this fight. 😛

This is Charli Dissman. Charli is not yet a regular climber (nor does she need be). Yet Charli works the dead hang here. An obvious and excellent movement to regularly gather time under tension in.

P.S. Charli has been kicking a$$ now for a couple of months. Strength. Poise. and Focus are her best attributes (so far). We will wait a few more months before her proper progress report goes up. Great work Charli!!!

Everything happens for a reason? HA! I don’t think so. S*** just happens/is. Sure you can roll with the punches, stick and move. Or fall limp, go comatose with psychosis. That choice is yours. But it is not a matter of spirits, luck, alchemy, or any other foresight into the future. Things just are. The real question is do you like the way they are? If not change them. The power and control is yours. –
